Formats — how it reframes

The film is built 16:9 (landing / YouTube / X-landscape). Here's how three beats look cropped to vertical (9:16) and square (1:1).

Important: these vertical/square versions are a naive center-crop — you can see they lose the sides (the product cards, the founder PIP, the logos get cut). A good vertical cut isn't a crop — each beat has to be re-composed for portrait (stacked layout, bigger type). That's real work (~a second mini-build). This page is to decide whether it's worth it.

The call

a16:9 only — ship the landscape cut, done. (landing, YouTube, X-landscape, email)
b16:9 + a proper vertical 9:16 — I re-compose each beat for portrait (stacked, bigger). Best for X / LinkedIn / IG / TikTok feed. ~a second mini-build.
c16:9 + square 1:1 — square crops reframe better than vertical (less lost); good for X/LinkedIn feed.
